Jarabi
In our ambition to create some unique and inspiring, yet simple content for SofaCinema in the Gambia I produced this music video with Mafu Konteh (kora), Ismaela Marong (djembe) and his son Jali Bakari Marong. In keeping it simple we made a one-shot video underneath a baobab tree at a private garden outside of Brikama. It was a wonderful day and the result is a relaxed, honest and beautiful version of the song Jarabi, which means Love.
